The Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro Gold Medal is a colorway of Kobe Bryant¡¯s fourth signature shoe that debuted in 2009 and was reissued in 2024. Inspired by the late basketball legend¡¯s captaincy of the 2008 Men¡¯s Olympic Basketball team at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, the ¡°Gold Medal¡± is one of the most popular colorways of Bryant¡¯s fourth signature shoe with Nike Basketball. The upper features Metallic Gold overlays on the toe, forefoot, and heel with a snakeskin texture in honor of Bryant¡¯s ¡°Black Mamba¡± nickname. Flywire cables appear on the white leather mid-panel. A Dark Obsidian Swoosh with red trim can be found on either side of the shoe. Bryant¡¯s Olympic number ¡°10¡± appears on the heel, and his ¡°Sheath¡± logo with Nike is seen on the tongue.
