The Awake NY x Asics Gel-Lyte 3 ¡°Green/White¡± is one of three colorways of the retro running and lifestyle shoe designed by Angelo Baque¡¯s streetwear brand and Asics in 2022. The Awake NY and Asics pairing has proven to be a formidable one over the years, as the two brands have released several colorways of the Gel-Lyte 3 and other classic Asics models. Here, the ¡°Green/White¡± modifies the shoe¡¯s design with a white textile base. Contrasting green suede overlays appear on the upper. Awake NY¡¯s version of the Gel-Lyte 3 retains the shoe¡¯s original split tongue design. Branding details include an ¡°Awake NY¡± stamp on the lateral side of the heel, and Asics¡¯ Tiger Stripes appear on the mid-panel. Release date: September 2, 2022
