The Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 1 ¡°Recess - Black¡± is one of two colorways of Anfernee ¡°Penny¡± Hardaway¡¯s former signature shoe designed by the sneaker and streetwear boutique, released in July 2022. Inspired by the Air Max Penny 1¡¯s original ¡°Magic¡± colorway, the ¡°Recess Black¡± stays mostly true to the model¡¯s retro design while adding several modern details, as well. The upper features a black nubuck base with white detailing on the lateral side panels. ¡°Social Status¡± branding is found on the heel, and interchangeable Swooshes appear on either side of the shoe, each of which represents a different sport, including basketball, baseball, football, tennis, and golf.
